Filey Brigg, Filey, North Yorkshire

Our first trip to the seaside for several years! Now we can go when it is quieter as my wife Carolynn has retired from her job at school. Filey Brigg is a rocky outcrop that extends from a headland formed of clay sitting on top of sandstone. I sketched it quickly just after our arrival from on top of the cliffs that sweep around in a broad arc behind the bay to the town. Drawn with a Staedtler pigmentliner pen in a Moleskine sketchbook in about 15 minutes.
