Tree study (WiP 2)

Working my way up and along the venerable old tree. The reference I am using shows the trunk mostly as a mass of dark tone with hunts of how the broughs grow out it. I am using some sketches of trees in my sketchbooks to add more interesting textures. Drawn with a Staedtler 0.3mm pencil and Tombow Mono zero eraser in an A4 cartridge paper sketchpad.
