"Eve", Thomas Brock, 1900, Tate Britain, London

I had walked from Bloomsbury to Tate Britain. After admiring the work of JMW Turner, especially some of his sketchbooks, I had a look around the British artists, 1700-1950 galleries. This sculpture in particular caught my eye, possibly because it had a handy seat next to it. I really need to practice drawing figures, this was an ideal opportunity. The marble sculpture is by Thomas Brock. The less finished column of stone which helps support the figure is meant to represent Satan. Drawn with my Pentel 0.5mm pencil in a Moleskine, A5 size sketchbook.
