York Minster (3): The rose window.

The circular window is an outstanding feature of the south transept of York Minster. Usually referred to as the rose window, or the Rose of Yorkshire. When the south transept was badly damaged by fire in 1984 the medieval glass was somehow left intact, though damaged. Careful restoration was undertaken after the fire. Drawn on A4 cartridge paper, taken from a sketchbook, using a Pentel 0.3mm mechanical pencil and Tombow Mono Zero eraser.
