The Ebor grandstand looks out across York racecourse, established in the mid 18th century. The old Indicator Board used to show race information to race goers in the stands. It was designed by Walter Brierley and built in 1922. Today it is used mostly for advertising boards though the original fittings are reportedly still inside. I reposted this after spotting an error with the cropping of my first attempt.
