Innsbruck light tracks
One of my favorite exercises when I'm strolling through the city at dusk is to keep an eye on the headlights of passing cars. This effect in a long exposure never ceases to amaze me. Finding the right aperture and exposure time is the key to balanced light stripes. It's a lot of trial and error. You never know exactly what effect you'll achieve and whether the lights will disrupt or enhance the composition.
The picture shows one of my favorite areas near the station, a quarter where Innsbruck indeed looks a little bit more like a city.
