Anse Cocos
I continue my Seyshelles photo series with a pano from another very beautiful, but mostly pretty rough beach in the very south of La Digue. The "Anse Cocos".
Swimming is not recommended at this time of the year, as the currents can be really dangerous. From the Grande Anse, which can be reached by bike, it is only a short but strenuous hike along two wonderful beaches and over two short wooded hills to reach this highlight of La Digue. Protected behind a group of huge granite boulders, there is a rock pool where you can always swim safely, no matter how high the waves are.
