As I ponder the roads of life on my travels I often think when I look upon these old dilapidated forgotten homes scattered here and there, that at one time it must've been a family dream house. How long do dreams last before they are forgotten? Of the photos I've taken on this road trip this is probably my most favorite of the "forgotten homes". The more I look at it the more I'm drawn in; strange how photos do that to people. Located in Rockbridge County, Virginia on I-81 between exits 200 and 205 (Fairfield and Raphine). April 5 2014.
