Mid-way through a lively scooter race around a carpark with her older brother, my daughter Annabel paused suddenly to enjoy the small flower she’d picked on the way. The moment was fleeting and unexpected – it lasted for only a few seconds before she was on her way again.
I love that she’s taking a moment out of the madness to enjoy something small and beautiful - something we all look out for from time to time.
