Nimbus

Finally the timing worked out such that I was in the area and the water was flowing. However a few challenges were in my path. With only a short window to take this shot I had to make it a quickie. I struck out in the first parking area after parking illegially it seemed to get the park ranger's attention in just 60 seconds. So I proceeded to another vantage of the dam and discovered a different park ranger there. It really ruined the opportunity since I was planning on climbing through a hole in a fence that said not trespassing and did not need to be witnessed by the ranger. Finally after 15-min of hunting for a vantage I had to park (legally) then run up on the bridge with the gear and shoot in an even shorter timeframe to makeup the lost time. I hate being rushed. The drizzling rain didn't seem to impair the image as I expected it was going to be ruined for sure with this long exposure. Enjoy this DAM photo since it wasn't easy, however always a fun journey. I wasn't going to leave without my DAM photo!
