Yosemite Point of View
This was the first stop when I arrived in Yosemite. While taking in the views I ended up meeting Erik Estes and Andrea Simon. The longer I stayed the more cameras Erik pulled out of his trunk. Finally his large format camera and tripod began to unfold and then the filters and light meter. Erik talked me through his process and gave me some great ideas. What was most impressive of all was to see a friendly couple enjoy themselves through travel and photography. They described to me the recent trips that all had strong elements of photography and fun. It's wonderful to see two people share a love for an art and explore the journey together. Some of my most memorable pieces of Yosemite were not just the great views but the people along the path.
