"Take care of the Monday blues by picking up your camera.
Make a photograph dominated by the color blue"
Ok, it's from Dec. 24th but it's blue!
Christmas plates from the Royal Porcelain Factory en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Copenhagen
used to be a very popular collectible in my parents generation.
My generation consider them “corny” and old-fashioned (of cause).
They are hand painted, of high quality and the newer ones are dirt cheap because of the amount produced. Don't get ripped of in the "professional" antique shops! www.tias.com/712/InventoryPage/29079/1.html?g=1
Remove one digit (divide with 10) and you have a reasonable price.
They are supposed to hang on the wall, but works just as well as a regular dessert plate :-)
The dish is Poire belle Hélène
