My Mother's Lilacs
Lilacs are a kind of seed plant. The pink/purple part of the lilacs are the petals. The petals attract pollinators like humming birds, butterflies, bees, etc.. The darker center part of the petals is the stamen. The green seen below and in between the petals are stems that raises the leaves towards sunlight in order to conduct photosynthesis.
