With the class 40,s all but gone it was time to start chasing the Peaks,here 45069 brings the "Lancashire Linx" over the summit at Copy Pit. This tour started at Plymouth behind 31117/31187,45069 took over the train at Birmingham. Other loco,s involved with the tour included 20060/20160 from Wigan to Southport and 25034/25224 Southport to Birmingham. Looks like someone has had an argument with the bridge parapet!! March 8th 1984.
