Tree ghosts at dusk

Dead coolibahs, Eucalyptus coolabah. Coolibahs are Australian trees that normally grow near freshwater. However, their roots cannot withstand being waterlogged for a long period. These trees died after a very wet, wet season when the water did not recede for a long time. Taken in the Gulf, the Northern Territory.
