My (amateur) Radio Station

Still very much a work in progress; this is my Amateur (HAM) radio station. From left to right: Filing stack for blank, sent and received radiograms and other forms; open space for writing and a computer workstation; bonding wire between the service panel and the station ground; UGLY brown streak left by a now nonexistant chimney; lamp; desk microphone with Push-To-Talk switch; Aastra office telephone; Kenwood TS-520 HF (amateur-shortwave) transceiver.

As I said this is a work in progress. I took this photo mostly because the old White Lightning needed a workout; the station is incomplete (I still need a transmatch and a PROPER antenna). I also plan on adding a PC to the setup; preferably with a small LCD monitor (simply for space-saving reasons, I still prefer CRT monitors).

...Also I need to paint (or at least wash) the damn wall! Not sure which looks worse, the rust streaks or the mildew...

Strobist: One White Lightning Ultra 1800 at 1/16 power aimed at the wall opposite the desk. Triggered with PT-04 remote.
