A shot of a tree about 400 feet away from a single White Lightning Ultra 1800 strobe, fitted with a very inefficiant DIY reflector! This is the exact sort of thing I wanted the bigass monolight for; long-range flash photography!
Strobist: One White Lightning Ultra 1800 at full power fitted with a DIY dish reflector. About 300 feet to camera right. Triggered with a "Cactus" remote.
