The Gimmick...
...Right next to a REAL camera that this toy was meant to look like... Does anyone else notice more than a passing resemblence here?
Yes I realize that I don't have the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 that the toy camera was trying to (visually) duplicate, but even with the kit lens you get the idea...
Strobist: One White Lightning Ultra 1800 at 1/32 power with a DIY dish reflector to camera right; ironically teamed up with the broken full-blast-or-nothing Sunpak 522 that I bought the WL to replace, fired into a silver umbrella camera left. The WL was synced via a "Cactus" remote, the Sunpak was optically slaved.
