Holding my Sunpak 522 right against the lens barrel yielded some very interesting flaring. Yes the big "star" is in the unedited photo!
Strobist: One Sunpak 522 at 1/4 power held against the lens barrel, triggered by a Wein PND slave... Does that even qualify as off-camera flash?!
