...The WRONG way!
Direct, on-camera flash with a really cheap speedlight...
WARNING: Don't try this at home kids, your photos will SUCK!
Strobist: One Sunpak 522 at 3/5 power fired into silver umbrellas above camera left, one Sunpak 611 at 1/2 power fired into silver umbrella above camera right, one Sunpak 522 at about 3/64 power below camera left aimed right into the Nikon's lens. All flashes (incl. the one mounted on the Nikon) triggered with Fotga "Cactus" remotes.
EDIT: The second Sunpak 522 (below camera right) seems to be stuck at 1/1 power (not sure when this happened...), hence the shadows underneath the Nikon.
