This is my son, Jacob, taken after sunset on the dunes of Lake Michigan. It was the night before he would return to college classes, and we were determined to treasure one last sunset walk together. Oh, how blessed we were! It was a beautiful, unseasonably warm January evening and we had the whole state park to ourselves. Finally, the first stars appeared in the sky and we made our way quietly back through the climbing dunes, into the woods, and back to our car. #blessedbeyondmeasure
