Mist opportunity

One of a series of misty, minimalistic shots I managed to capture in my local harbour on a particularly foggy morning. I like the simplicity of the three dinghies and how they diminish in contrast and clarity the further they disappear into the mist.

 

I also like the arty feel that the wavy shadow on the foreground dinghy has, created by the wake of an outgoing yacht. It helps lift the image and reinforce the fact that the boats are afloat.
