Selsey Life Boat Station

We recently visited the Life Boat Station hoping it might be possible to get a final snap in before the station finally went to meet its maker, no doubt to be recycled into tin cans. As of a few days ago, she was in a very sorry state having already been partly demolished. What was left was surrounded by various gantries and heavy machinery.

 

I hadn’t actually realised, until I looked through my gallery, that in the couple of years since we have been visiting Selsey, I hadn’t actually posted a single image of it.

 

Very remiss of me and so, a bit late in the day, this is my first and last picture of Selsey Life Boat Station taken earlier in the year when she was still at her best.
