Flaming Sky
This was a rather dramatic sunset that I managed to capture earlier in the month. It was taken from the coastal path around Thorney Island, looking across Chichester Harbour towards Emsworth.
I haven't frequented this location too often as it can be quite bleak and mostly slim pickings. However, if you pick your location carefully, and if nature is on your side, the big open skies can be quite dramatic.
Thankfully, this is relatively local to me so at least I have a chance to look out of the window first to see if it looks like a promising sunset before setting off. The down side is that behind me on this coastal path is a small lake and at this time of the evening the mosquitoes are out in force and on a mission!
