R.I.P. The Cooperage, Quayside, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
The legendary, venerable Cooperage closed a couple of years ago, having been there for centuries, because the residents in the new yuppie flats that had sprung up nearby didn't like the noise. WTF! If you don't like noise, don't buy an overpriced city centre flat near a busy pub! You have deprived us of one of Newcastle last-remaining PROPER pubs.
