Gliese 581 d

Water world. Weighing in at eight Earth masses, this object is more likely to be an 'ocean planet'. Rather than existing as a thin veneer as with the earth, the planet's water would make up a large fraction of its bulk. Beneath the ~100-mile-deep ocean, liquid water succumbs to intense pressure and transitions into an exotic form of ice. Overall, this layer of ice may extend down perhaps thousands of miles into the hot depths of the planet.

Incidentally, this is the only known extrasolar planet that has the *potential* of being habitable to life.
