I wanted to use some orphan blocks made some time ago once i realised that some of them worked together, The centre wheel was made in a workshop with Kathy Dougherty, i applied it to the French text using the same technique used in the Soupçon mystery QAL. I then hunted for an appliqué design that would suit an on point setting. I had to do a bit of tweaking before i was happy with it . The next borders are still to be worked out but the one of the outer borders will be the spidery hexies i did before Christmas.( i made about 40 of them without any plan for them. ) The final border will be more appliqué, but simpler
