Today's story and sketch "by me" you see Deputy Spander Dita, one of the "MCPPOTG" Man Cave Posse Protectors Of The Galaxies more interesting members. Spander is one of our best pilots, for slow moving craft. Randy met Spander while testing a poorly built low orbit personal orbiter for the Gumbuuya personal orbiter corporation, when the orbiter lost all propulsion while flying eight miles high in the atmosphere, at first he began falling slowly towards the surface of Gumbuuya, but by the time Randy struck the Planets surface he estimates he was traveling at Twelve Hundred miles an hour, when he and the orbiter luckily hit a soft mushy mud bog which softened the crash, the orbiter thought was completely destroyed, if it would have been any other pilot but Rescue Randy the most interesting living tissue crash test dummy in the Galaxy would surely have perished. Randy survived and was able to crawl out of the mud bog and self medicate, and patch his missing bits with crash test dummy living tissue putty, and two thousand mile an hour flesh tape from his first aid back pack, but he was not out of the woods, the mud bog was in the middle of a thick Bramble Forest. Luckily for Randy, Spander was flying overhead in a commuter trolley and noticed the wreckage scattered all over the bog, Spander wrote a note to himself with the GPS coordinates, so he could return after his shift to look for anything of value to salvage. That evening Spander returned and found the wreckage and the badly injured Rescue Randy, who he instantly recognized having read many of the Rescue Randy Adventure Novels. Spander took Randy to the nearby home of his sister's, who are both members of a crack military triage unit. Randy recovered from his injuries and offered Spander a Deputy position with the "MCPPOTG" on Earth, and today you see him flying the beach patrol plane. Randy still visits Gumbuuya and dates Slanders sisters, until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.
