Dolly
Today's story and sketch "by me", I have traveled via the Stargate in the back of the Man Cave, responding to an urgent message from JB and Rescue Randy, seen above arriving just minutes behind me. The message was about the arrival of a "VIP" from the Planet Numbiddi named Dolly Dovie, Dolly the most famous Ballerina in the Galaxy is performing a charity event at the "Playa Beautimus Retirement Resort's" Gymungas Entertainment Pavilion, for the "RRCT", Rescue Randy Charitable Trust. Rescue Randy the most interesting living tissue crash test dummy in the Cosmos, was dating Dolly during his rehabilitation following a horrendous crash while testing an experimental interstellar glider when it was struck by a very large piece of space junk, sending the glider onto the Planet Numbiddi at Fourteen hundred miles an hour. Randy crashed causing a five hundred foot crater in the middle of Dolly's vegetable garden, it was very lucky Dolly was in the city on jury duty and not picking rutabagas, which she uses to make rutabaga moon pies. Dolly arrived home to find the giant hole in her rutabaga patch, when she went to investigate she instantly noticed and recognized Rescue Randy trying to crawl up the side of the crater, which was difficult being as severely damaged as he was. It was wonderful for Randy that Dolly had read many of the Rescue Randy Adventure Novels, and knew to get Randy and his crash test dummy first aid kit away from the wreckage before it could possibly explode. Dolly carried Randy to her spare bedroom and gently packed the living tissue putty where needed and covered it with medium tan two thousand mile an hour skin tape. Dolly cared for Randy until JB arrived, which was only a day before the experimental Glider in the crater exploded destroying what was left of the neighborhood. Dolly will be using the proceeds from the "RRCT" ballet to purchase a replacement for the her farm here at the Playa Beautimus Retirement Resort. Until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.
