Greb Hitch Hiker
Today's story and sketch" by me, my wife Pat and I have traveled to the Planet Wazzunga to visit Stanley Flop, Stan is one of Rescue Randy's friend's, they met accidentally, when Randy accidentally crash landed an experimental intergalactic glider on Wazzunga. Randy the most interesting living tissue crash test dummy in the Cosmos, showed his incredible piloting skills when the experimental glider he was testing lost power in worm hole Seventeen in route to the Planet Opisto. He was struck by a Star Battle Cruiser sending the B&R Experimental glider out thru the side of the worm hole, hurling it at twice the speed of light directly toward the planet Wazzunga, to be precise hurling at Stanley Flop's casual footwear factory, Stanley is the galaxies number one manufacturer of the footwear sandals known as Flip Flop's. Randy realised very quickly as he saw the factory getting larger and larger as he looked out the front windscreen, he only had a few seconds to alter the gliders path that would completely turn the factory into a mile wide crater. At an altitude of ten thousand feet, hurling like a fireball through Wazzungas atmosphere at two thousand miles per hour, blew both the entrance door and moon pie storage compartment hatch, deflecting the gliders path thirty degrees to the west into cabbage fields. When the glider hit the water tower it actually helped to slow the crash into the rows of the three foot tall Wazzunga cabbages. The glider finally came to a stop after taking out two miles of the stinky cabbages used for popular Kimchi moon pies. Stanley was the first beaked beast at the crash scene and pulled Randy from the crumpled glider, and recognized Randy, having read many of the books written about his adventures. Stanley stabilized Randy in a large cabbage crate, and knew from reading about Randy, the only EMT's to call were the reanimation Doctors on Mars, who arrived within two hours and had Randy back together and ready to be transported to Earth within a week. Stanley who you see lower right, greeting a Greb beak beast, who hitched a ride with a couple of Voodoo's to Wazzunga to buy a pair of Stanley's Flip Flops, above you see Pat and I who are here to invite Stanley to Rescue Randy's birthday party, which is a story for another time, also to pick up a few pairs of Flip Flops, until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.
