Today's story and sketch "by me" you see Yank Bohman in front
of one of the popular Wonder World employee after hours and week end hang outs. It's the Wonder World Saloon, known for the best "Janky Root Drink" on Earth, made from a root found in a small crater on Lippo the "Blue Moon" called the Janky Root. The Root resembles an oversized Rutabaga, the average Janky is about three to four feet long and when chopped and left in a tank of Florida Swamp water for two two three months, it starts to bubble and fizz, creating a natural effervescence, the fermented Janky Root and swamp water become a thick dark beverage known as Martian "IPA", ignitable Pond Ale. It is defiantly an acquired taste, but essential in every Spacecrafts emergency kit, always remember to pack a supply of Moon Pies and a few bottles of "IPA" for those long interstellar journeys, the "IPA" can substitute as emergency anti Gravity fuel in most propulsion systems.
