USS Pigeon
Ever since I was a kid I've had an interest in the old Asiatic fleet and their exploits during WWII.....books like, "They were Expendable:" and the, "Sea War in the Pacific by Samuel Eliot Morrison" I've read everything I could get my hands on about them.... so this series of pictures I hunted is dedicated to the bravery and loyalty of these heros from long ago....
