April Dreams

Take a deep breath

Fill your lungs with a birdsong you could never sing yourself, and let it feed you.

Let it fill you up, though you have never truly been full before.

Breathe until you are bursting at the seams.

Draw so much of the spring air into yourself that sunshine spills out the corners of your mouth when you smile.

And do smile.
