Abell 7

Published in Astronomy Now Magazine April 2020.

 

An intensely faint, and thus rarely imaged, large planetary nebula in the southern constellation Lepus. It was discovered by George Abell in 1966. It is 1,800 light years from Earth.The small galaxy to the north east is PGC 16611.
