Quay Hill, Lymington *
The town of Lymington in Hampshire dates from Anglo Saxon times and gradually expanded from the original settlement around the quay to become a thriving town.
These houses on Quay Hill date from Georgian times with quite a few being grade 2 listed buildings and protected from demolition or major alterations without prior authority from the Local Authority – New Forest District Council.
Today the town has a ferry link across the Solent to the nearby Isle of Wight and benefits from tourism through leisure sailing and the nearby New Forest National Park.
