Young Goldfinch

Carduelis carduelis

 

This is the first goldfinch I've ever seen in the garden. I barely had time to grab the camera, and the light was terrible, so this image is nothing to write home about. Hopefully he'll come back again. I say "he", if you can tell if this is male or female, please let me know.
