'Shocka', by Ben

"Shocka", was created using acrylic paints on canvas. There is a variety of blending terciary colours in the background. The background is overall dark and pasted on thick, leaving raised swirling lines on the canvas. The portrait is very contrasting to the background with the use of bright colours, which almost makes it impossible for the eyes to look past. The colours used were red with white tint mixed together with a dash of blue to achieve a skin colour and also, plain white for the eyes.
