Only the old circular control room and triangular shaped restaurant / canteen buildings alongside remain. The site is being cleared to make way for a waterside 'garden village' development.
In the meantime the site is being used to paint and store very large wind turbine blades manufactured on the nearby Isle of Wight by VESTAS
