Here, Van Hool bodied Volvo B10M-60 type L872 SGW from the Stowmarket based fleet of Dan’s Coach Travel is captured on the rally field situated adjacent to the North Norfolk Railway’s Holt Station whilst departing from their annual Vintage Transport Weekend. Delivered new to Parks of Hamilton in August 1993 with their cherished plate HSK 649, this vehicle has carried a number of different plates since and joined the Dan’s fleet from Whincop of Peasenhall where it was registered 9591 PW. Now approaching 26 years in service it was operating an advertised excursion to Holt from the Stowmarket area.
This vehicle attended the event on Sunday only, which was warm and sunny.
As well as the preservationists, some of whom travel long distances to bring their vehicles to Holt, it is good to see that a number of local operators also support this event.
