Sanders 318 1500hrs Buxton Primary School to RAF Coltishall 161014
Retrieved from the cutting room floor, here we see Sanders former Reading Buses Wright bodied Scania L94UB type 318 - YN06 NXR shortly after arriving to work a school contract journey from Buxton Primary School to RAF Coltishall. Not a good idea these days to be seen near a school with a camera, but realising that the children were still in class I grabbed a quick snap of the bus before they appeared.
Since taking this shot, the RAF Coltishall site has been renamed Badersfield and currently, according to the NCC website, this contract, which takes just ten minutes to complete, is now operated by Norse Commercial Services. The new houses in the background are built on the site previously occupied by C F Woodcock t/a Bure Valley Coaches and at one time he held a licence to operate a school day only service between the same points.
