Shaw's S511XCR 1130hrs Maxey to Market Deeping 060417
In this shot Shaw’s of Maxey Caetano Compass (SCC) bodied Dennis Dart type S511 XCR is caught by my camera between Maxey and Market Deeping whilst passing the Etton turn with the above journey on service 101. The Monday to Saturday service 101 timetable provides one journey each way per day, which run on to or off of Shaw’s Market Deeping - Spalding service 100. There is but one intermediate timing point at Deeping Gate and the overall running time of the above journey is shown as four minutes, during which time the route passes from Cambridgeshire into Lincolnshire. This vehicle was new to Norfolk operator AMZA of Blofield in January 1999, but came to Shaw from Great Yarmouth based Swift Taxis in August 2011. Parts of Maxey village can be seen in the background to either side of the bus.
