Here we see former Hutchings & Cornelius of South Petherton Harrington bodied Dennis Lancet UF type YYB 118 about to head home to Norfolk.
Just over six years helping to restore this bus finally came to fruition today when it attended the Showbus Rally at Woburn Abbey. First time out, the icing on the cake for owner Nick Webster and his small band of helpers was the winning of the “Doyen Award for Best Singledecker”. For me personally it was a labour of love and receiving an award made those hours of finger numbing scrubbing, scraping, screwing etc .all worthwhile.
