Sanders 320 0930hrs Stalham to Norwich 190915
In this view we see Sanders Wright bodied Scania K230UB type number 320 - YN57 FWH passing along The Street in Barton Turf with the above journey on service X11. This is the last Norwich bound service X11 to serve the village and as the two return buses from Norwich only run this way by request, it may well be the very last journey of all. Note that vehicle 320 has received a fleet number, something which has been missing since it arrived in November 2013. The village pond is just visible to the right of 320 and also note the Norfolk Wherry atop the village sign which commemorates the 1953 Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II
The final phase of changes to Sanders ever expanding service network comes into effect from Monday 21st September. With the introduction of new service 10, which replaces facilities previously provided by First between Norwich and Stalham via Wroxham, Horning, Ludham and Catfield, As a result Sanders existing service X11 and 34 timetables have some timing changes. The above date also sees another section of the former Neaves of Catfield service 36 route abandoned as in future no journeys on service X11 will deviate to serve Neatishead and Barton Turf. There are also some timing and route changes to Norwich local service 32, again to replace First, as well as to service 157.
