Johannesburg, Not Turkey!

A capture of a marvellous Turkish-style restaurant in the fascinating, ethnically diverse and historically rich suburb of Fordsburg, in Johannesburg. Historically a once Jewish and Indian suburb, it has a large and dense, culturally diverse, population, with among other things a notable Moslem presence. It boasts a vibrant, riveting, 'street life' with a plurality of eating options and a wonderful interconnection between residential and commercial buildings. Bazaars, barber shops, auto-repair facilities exist side-by-side. This particular restaurant and coffee shop is housed in an old, decommissioned, locomotive and carriage!http://www.inyourpocket.com/johannesburg/Fordsburg-Delights_73374f and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fordsburg
