This is the garden at the hospital where in 1988 Vincent van Gogh was diagnosed with "acute mania with generalized delirium" after an altercation with Paul Gaugain, Van Gogh cut off part of his ear. He was hospitalized twice, but recovered enough to return to Paris.
The garden looks much the same as it dit in 1889 when van Gogh painted "The Courtyard of the Hospital at Arles",
