The semi-cactus Dahlia 'Tsuki-yori-no-shisha' originated in Japan. Dahlias with these fringed petals are known as fimbriated (or laciniated in North America). This is the most unusual dahlia blooming in our garden. The huge flowers seem to be having a bad hair day!
