Juniper at Hot Creek
This Sierra Western Juniper thrives in the Hot Creek Geologic Site in the Inyo National Forest, Mono County. The blue "berries" are actually cones; it would be tempting to try making gin from them, although a different variety, Juniperus communis, is typically used.
Happy Fence Friday! Thanks, as always, for stopping by and for your kind comments, awards and faves -- I appreciate them all.
