Skinningrove Jetty

Taken from the North cliff .The was used by the Skinningrove Iron Works on top of the slope.The works was attacked by Zeppin in WW1 little or no damage.The Jetty is in a bad state of repair.Royal Engineers tried to demolish it WW2 afraid of German Invasion with limited success.the tourist board is looking for lottery money to restore it so tourists can visit from nearby Whitby north after the cliffs.
