Double Arch

The double arch is a couple of natural arches together located in the Arches National Park, in Utah, United States, being one of the best known formations of the park.

It was formed differently from most of the arches of the park, knowing itself as a well arc, formed by the erosion of water from above instead of the most typical erosion from the side. The largest opening has a length of 45 m and a height of 32 m. These dimensions give the arch the highest opening and the second longest section of the park.

As a curiosity, the area was used as a backdrop for the initial scene of Indiana Jones and the last crusade, in which the arches are briefly seen.
