Former School Room, St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Liverpool

An upstairs room which was formerly the school classroom in the days when children were educated in religion and the Greek language on the premises. The walls are lined with a teaching aid - prints showing the heroes of the Greek War of Independence. Children from the Greek community can now attend classes at a local secondary school to take GCSEs and A Levels in Greek.
